Another week, another update. I've slowly been grinding through the panzers this week

Chechens? In my Ichkeria!?!?? Project finished!

Well what started as a little side diversion turned into its own project and is now finished. I've always had a weird fascination with the Caucuses and I guess it was inevitable that I would do a Chechen force, but it happened so fast that I barely realized what I was doing until it was finished.

Well here they are

I decided to spice up the tanks a bit and jewel all the vision blocks

The best part is I can throw these dudes up against my late Cold War Soviets without batting an eyelash since the early years Russian federals basically had the exact same kit!

Tanks with TUSKS

Wasn't happy with the afore mentioned BMP and T-72 so I decided to make them into generic East European Militia/insurgent fodder

Also have been discussing doing an ultra modern campaign based loosely on the Harvest Red campaign from Arma II

heres an ACU test I think turned out pretty nicely

And an M1 TUSK conversion

Rebased the MI-26, this thing is a BEAST

Panzer Gray!?!?!

I've always loved Panzer gray, and wanted to paint some guys up in it, but ironically have found the concept a bit intimidating - given such a simple scheme I've always considered it difficult to execute well, but I finally sucked it up and gave it a shot, here are the results.

The ultra cute PZIII

And the obligatory group shot

I also decided to redo the T-72BV to give it a bit more weathered soviet character
