How on Earth do they fire heavy weapons from such a light mount?
No idea, John, but I've seen Hiluxes mounting ZU-23s and the BMP-1 turret, so the ZPU is actually pretty light!
They look great, although I think RE-painting anything is crazy!
great stuff. and once more another use for the "indestructible" (according to Top Gear) Hilux pick up truck.
ohhh nasty looking things those are (in a good way :). don't forget the orange/pink VS17 panels on the roof! We don't want any coalition aircraft accidentally knocking out the good guys!
I did a feature post on my blog about these technicals. As long as they can load it on a truck, they would do it. I have seen the recoil of some rocket launchers fire off these technical trucks and rip the vehicle it is on to shreds.Anyway, tacobat, I have finally met a fellow modern warfare enthusiast. Your 1/87 scale vehicles are awesome man. Love all of them. Just curious, where do you get all ur collectibles from. As for me, I am a modern warfare enthusisast that collects 1/285 scale Modern Warfare miniatures and I am a hobbyist that does 1/72 Armor, 1/144 Planes and 1/700 Modern Warships.Do check out my blog at www.toyconstruct.blogspot.com under the modern military section and it would be really cool if you could google connect with me as I have with you.Once again, Totally awesome blog!
